Who is Reapit?

Where we use the words “Reapit”, “we”, “our”, or “us”, we mean:

  • Reapit Agentbox Trading Pty Ltd (ACN 130 835 504); or  
  • any other member of the Reapit Group in ANZ ie any subsidiary of Reapit Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 626 134 745).


Who does this Policy apply to?

This policy applies to anyone who:

  • visits any of our websites  
  • uses any of our services or software
  • supplies any service to us
  • engages with us in any other manner  


including business customers, business suppliers, real estate agents, property owners, tenants etc.  


This policy does not apply to job applicants or staff members (including employees and independent contractors) whose personal information is governed by other Group policies outside the scope of this policy.

Consent

By using our website, services or software, and providing your information to us, you indicate your consent to us (including our other Group companies) and our third-party suppliers collecting, using and disclosing your personal information in accordance with this policy.


What information do we collect?

We may collect personal information about you as necessary to allow you to use our website, services and software as applicable. This personal information may include, by way of example:

We will only collect sensitive information from you with your consent, unless we are permitted or required to do so by law. If you do not wish us to store any sensitive information, please do not provide it to us directly or via a third party.


We process this personal information for our and others’ business purposes. For example, this may include:

  • enabling our business customers and suppliers to provide their services to you

  • joint applicants, co-tenants, emergency contacts and referees
  • our business customers including real estate agencies and property managers
  • our service providers, contractors and suppliers including property platforms and listing sites, online payment systems and SMS systems
  • our professional advisers and any potential purchaser of all or part of our business or assets
  • as otherwise required or permitted by law.

The collection and use of your personal information by a third party may be subject to a separate privacy policy. If you submit or request any information from any third parties in connection with our services, we recommend that you read their privacy policy. We are not responsible for the way that they handle your personal information.

Where we need to share your personal information with third parties in order to provide our services to you (e.g. to allow them to carry out processing activities on our behalf), we will ensure that these third parties are not given access to more personal information than is necessary, and that they cannot use that personal information for any other purposes. These third parties may be located overseas including New Zealand, UK, EU, Philippines, Indonesia, USA, Singapore, and South Africa.

If you provide information to us about a third party (such as your directors, employees, clients or someone you have business dealings with) please make sure that you are properly authorised to share that information with us.

Our data is stored securely on cloud servers which are

  • located in Australia
  • operated by reputable third-party service providers
  • protected by appropriate security measures.
